Soldier Comes Home Early From Deployment To Surprise His Mom When She Least Expects It

Inez, from Kent, Washington, has a very close relationship with her son, who is a soldier in the United States Army.

For the past nine months, he has been deployed in Syria, which has been really hard on Inez. Not knowing when he would be coming back home, or if he would even make it back home at all, has taken a toll on her.

Little did she know, her son was planning a very special surprise for her.

As soon as he got word that he would be able to finally come home, he knew he wanted to surprise his mom when she least expected it.

One day, Inez thought she was visiting her friends booth of artwork at a fair, but she had no idea that someone was about to sneak up on her.

As she was admiring the artwork, her son crept up behind her. It took her a second to realize what was happening, but as soon as she realized it was him, she dropped her purse and gave him a big hug.

Tears filled her eyes as she hugged her son, not wanting to let go. She gives him a kiss on his cheek and covers her mouth. She is truly stunned and is still in shock that her son is really home.

It’s safe to say that this surprise was a success and that it is a moment she’ll never forget!
